When called Joe's Steakhouse, The Maple State started out as a pop-punk band but after several line up changes the group felt that a change was needed. Shortly fallowing it began in the Tercet track demonstration, which was super easily received. Fallowing gaining interest from either either many record labels two from a UK & United states in a nature and severity one demonstration, the band agreed to release their debut EP on Punktastic Recordings.
